Sentencing six Jerusalemites
The judges of Israeli courts sentenced on Monday six Jerusalemites.
Lawyer Mohammad Mahmoud explained that the judge sentenced Emad Bakri, Wahid Bakri and Mahdi Syaj for 32 months of actual imprisonment, a suspended probation of 8 months for three years and a 6-thousand NIS fine for each.
He also sentenced Ibrahim Shweiki for 10 months of actual imprisonment and a suspended probation of 3 months for three years.
Tamer Abu Asab was sentenced for 10 months of actual imprisonment and a suspended probation of 3 months for three years.
Amjad Abu Asab, head of Jerusalemites detainees and prisoners families committee, explained that the judge also sentenced the Jerusalemite prisoner Gheith Naser Gheith for six months of actual imprisonment after being convicted of incitement on Facebook.
Lawyer Mahmoud added that the judge extended the arrest of Akram Mustafa and the minors Yazan N’aji and Ali Atyeh until completing the legal procedures against them.
The judge extended the arrest of Obada Issa until Tuesday.
Also, the judge decided to reduce the house-arrest conditions imposed on Malek Sroor, Nader Abdo, Tawfiq Abu Dheim and Ahmad Aweisat making it from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m.
The judge released Mohammad Shawish and the minors Mahmoud Salim and Nasrallah Gheith on condition of house-arrest for two days and a third-party bail.
Amjad Abu Asab also explained that the judge extended the arrest of Fadi Jo’beh, Mohammad Jo’beh, Samah Dweik and Sahar Natsheh until 1/6/2016.
