A series of arrests in the village of Al-Tur and the neighborhood of Al-Sowaneh
Occupation soldiers raided after Tuesday midnight the village of Al-Tur and the neighborhood of Al-Sowaneh east of the Old City of Jerusalem.
Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that occupation soldiers and intelligence personnel raided Al-Sowaneh and Al-Tur at the same time using infantry units. They raided the locals’ houses and executed several arrests against children and young men and also handed calls of interrogation for several others.
The center was informed that the soldiers arrested six Jerusalemites from Al-Sowaneh, they are:
- Amir Walid Bilbeisi (17)
- Mousa Jamil Qadamani
- Mohammad Abu Lafi
- Mohammad Sbitani
- Nidal Sa’oo
- Amir Qadamani
The forces also raided the house of 26-year old Majdi Abu Ghazaleh to arrest him but he was not home at the time of the raid; they handed his father a call for interrogation to his son at Salah Eddin Street police station.
In the village of Al-Tur, sources from the village explained that the forces arrested:
