After being under house-arrest for 9 months…sentencing two minors for 26 months of actual imprisonment and a fine
The District judge sentenced on Monday two Jerusalemite Martyrs from the neighborhood of Beit Hanina north of Jerusalem.
Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that the District judge sentenced Nour Eddin Abu Hadwan (16) and Seif Tawil (16) for 26 months of actual imprisonment and a 30-thousand NIS fine for each on charges of throwing stones towards settlers’ vehicles; they were arrested in June 2015 along with 8 other children from the same neighborhood. After two weeks of interrogation, they were released on condition of house-arrest.
Abu Hadwan and Tawil turned themselves-in to Al-Ramleh prison last April after being under-house arrest for 9 months.
On the other hand, the occupation forces arrested Ali Khaled Aweisat (16) and Shadi Mohammad Aweisat after raiding their homes in the village of Jabal Al-Mukabber on Monday early morning.
In a related matter, lawyer Mohammad Mahmoud explained that the judge extended the arrest of Adnan Rajabi until 28/6/2016, Ahmad Abu Roumi and Adam Abu Shamala and Ahmad Abu Aweis until 11/7/2016 for sentencing, Mouath Abed Rabbo until 30/6/2016 and decided to acquit Mohammad Hatem Abulhawa from any charges.
A session was held for Baha’ Ajloni and his case has been transferred to the District Court.
