Silwan: Arresting five Jerusalemites…raiding a house and assaulting its residents…randomly firing live ammunition
The occupation forces arrested on Friday 5 Jerusalemites from Silwan and fired live ammunition and sound grenades while assaulting two young men.
Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed that the forces arrested Ra’fat and Mohammad Basbous on Friday morning. They were transferred to the neighborhood of Wadi Hilweh where they were severely beaten and led to clashes using hands between the locals and occupation forces that randomly fired live ammunition and sound grenades.
Witnesses explained that the forces assaulted and pushed the women in the area.
In a related matter, the forces arrested Mousa Fatafta after stopping him and checking his ID in Silwan.
On the other hand, the occupation forces raided on Friday afternoon the house of Adnan Karaki in the neighborhood of Wadi Hilweh in Silwan and assaulted the residents and beat them. After searching and damaging the house’s contents, they arrested 21-year old Mohammad Karaki and requested his 17-year old brother Amir for interrogation at Salah Eddin Street police station.
Adnan Karaki explained that the forces assaulted his son while he was asleep and when he tried to interfere, he was also attacked and assaulted.
