The conditional release of 6 Jerusalemites…extensions of arrest
The Magistrate judge decided on Monday to release 6 Jerusalemites with a bail and house-arrest conditions; they were arrested from the neighborhood of Oqbat Al-Khaldyeh in the Old City of Jerusalem after being assaulted by settlers and occupation forces.
Lawyer Mohammad Mahmoud explained that the judge release Mahmoud Salim, Ahmad Salaymeh, Mansour Salim and Mo’men Gheith with a 250-NIS bail, house-arrest for 7 days and a third-party bail for each.
He also released Ahmad Risheq and Ali Abu Asab with a 500-NIS bail house-arrest until 28/7/2016 for each.
On the other hand, lawyer Mahmoud explained that the judge extended the arrest of Qusai Dari, Adam Mahmoud, Anas Abu Asab, Mohammad Suleiman and Mohammad Atyeh until 7/8/2016 when the so-called conduct officer will release his report. He also extended the arrest of Mahmoud Abu Khdeir, Adam Abu Khdeir, Anas Ziad, Mohammad Fayez Abu Khdeir, Mohammad Jamal Mahmoud and Anwar Obeid until 27/7/2016.
The lawyer also added that the judge extended the arrest of the minors Fadi Essawi and Mustafa Abu Hummos until 26/7/2016; Fadi was injured with fractures in his arm after being assaulted by the Musta’ribeen unit (undercover police) during the arrest while Abu Hummos is suffering from severe pains in his arm due to the assault.
In the same context, the District judge extended the arrest of Ahmad Burghal until completing the legal procedures against him.
A session was held at the Supreme Court for the child Ala’ Al-Qaq and the judge postponed the decision.
