Arresting several young Jerusalemite men and requesting others for interrogation…releasing the father of Martyr Abu Sbeih
The occupation forces carried out a series of arrests on Sunday night and requested several young men for interrogation and also extended the arrest of the head of Prisoner’s Club in Jerusalem, Naser Qos.
The lawyer of Prisoner’s Club in Jerusalem, Mufeed Al-Hajj, said that the occupation police extended the arrest of 45-year old Naser Qos, head of Prisoner’s Club, to continue interrogating him on charges of obstructing police work.
The Prisoner’s Club said in a statement that the forces assaulted Qos and assaulted him in the Old City of Jerusalem before transferring him to Al-Qishleh police station.
Local sources explained that the forces arrested a group of young men and requested several others for interrogation. Among those arrested were Nihad Zghayyar, Tarek Abu Sbeih, Samer Baytouni, Mohammad Daqqaq, Ahmad Shawish and Mahmoud Gheith.
The occupation intelligence released on Sunday night Sbeih Abu Sbeih, father of Martyr Musbah Abu Sbeih, after interrogating him for several hours. He was informed of a decision not to open a funeral home for his son in Jerusalem.
Shooting incident carried out by Martyr Musbah Abu Sbeih
Martyr Abu Sbeih carried out a shooting attack in the neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah in Jerusalem and opened fire towards the light rail station which led to the death of a female settler and injury of several others. He then continued driving and opened fire towards a vehicle and injured one settler and then got engaged in an armed clash with Special Forces and killed one of them before he was shot and killed.
Clashes in Silwan
Clashes broke out on Sunday night in the neighborhood of Ein Al-Lozeh in Silwan where the forces randomly fired tear gas canisters, sound grenades and rubber bullets while the young men closed the streets with burning tires. The forces established checkpoints and stopped young men and checked their IDs and also assaulted one young man in the Middle Neighborhood. During the clashes, one young man was injured by a rubber bullet in the chest while another was injured by shrapnel of a sound grenade in his neck.
Al-Tur
The forces also randomly fired sound grenades in the village of Al-Tur on Sunday night.
