The occupation forces raid Shu’fat refugee camp and arrest two children…prison sentences…extensions of arrest
The occupation forces arrested on Monday early morning two children from Shu’fat refugee camp in Jerusalem.
Wadi Hilweh Information Center’s lawyer explained that the Israeli forces arrested 14-year old Yazan Mohammad Harafsheh and 13-year old Ayham Mohammad Harafsheh.
Extending the arrest of minors
The judge extended the arrest of Omar Za’aneen until 16/11/2016, Ala’ Akoob until 20/11/2016, Issa Abu Ryaleh and Mohammad Ayman Obeidi until 5/12/2016.
Extending the arrest of young men
The judge also extended the arrest of Mohammad Fawwaz Joulani until completing the legal procedures against him, Suhaib Afaneh until 20/11/2016, Mahmoud Dirbas until 5/12/2016, Ayman Kurd until 27/11/2016, Akram Mustafa until 2/2/2017 (witnesses hearing session), Ahmad Za’aneen and Bahjat Al-Razem until 16/11/2016, and Seif Abu Ta’a until 21/11/2016.
Releases
On the other hand, the Israeli police released the child Ayham Za’aneen and Ahmad Dkeidek with a third-party bail for each, and the judge decided to release the minors Mohammad Abdel Ra’ouf Mahmoud and Wasim Dari with a 500-NIS bail, house-arrest for 5 days and a third-party bail for each.
Zakaria Ghrouf, Adham Aweisat and Radi Aweisat were also released with a 1000-NIS bail, house-arrest for 7 days and a third-party bail for each.
The judge also released Abdullah Afaneh with a 500-NIS bail, house-arrest for 7 days and a third-party bail.
Prison sentences
Amjad Abu Asab, head of Jerusalemites detainees and prisoners families committee, explained that the District Court in Jerusalem sentenced 4 young men, they are:
- Hasan Salim Ismaeel Khalfawi (20): 7 years of actual imprisonment
- Jihad Samer Zaghal (21): 6 and a half years of actual imprisonment
- Mohammad Nidal Abu Diab (19): 5 years of actual imprisonment
- Anas Jawdat Abu Sneineh (23): 5 years of actual imprisonment
