The occupation transfers a young man to administrative arrest…prison sentences...extensions of arrest

The occupation authorities transferred on Tuesday 20-year old Malek Aweisat to administrative arrest. Lawyer Mohammad Mahmoud explained that the Magistrate judge decided to release his client with a bail and house-arrest conditions but moments later he was transferred to administrative arrest.

Prison sentences

  • Ata Awadallah: Actual imprisonment for 16 months and a suspended probation of 6 months for three years.
  • Rida Obeid (minor): Actual imprisonment for 5 months, a 3-thousand NIS fine and a suspended probation of 4 months for two years.
  • Mahmoud Obeid: Actual imprisonment for 6 months and one day, and a suspended probation of 6 months for three years.
  • Mouamar Darwish: Actual imprisonment for 6 months and one day, and a suspended probation of 6 months for three years.
  • Mohammad Totah: Actual imprisonment for 6 months and one day, and a suspended probation of 6 months for three years.

Indictments…

Lawyer Mahmoud added that the judge extended the arrest of Mustafa Hashlamon and Seif Abu Ta’a, and the minors Ahmad Tawil and Ala’ Joulani until 9/12/2016 to submit indictments against them.

Extension of arrest until completing legal procedures

The lawyer added that the judge extended the arrest of Issa Abu Ryaleh, Mohammad Ayman Obeid, Ahmad Shatat, Mousa Dab’ee and Sami Nasser Eddin until completing the legal procedures against them.

Extensions of arrest

The judge extended the arrest of Saleh Mheisen until 8/12/2016, Odai Abu Sa’ed and Jihad Ameera until 7/12/2016, Mahmoud Dirbas until14/12/2016, Mohammad Abu Khdeir until 13/12/2016, Mahmoud Naser until 15/3/2017, Mustafa Abu Hummos until 29/1/2017, Mahmoud Khatib until 8/1/2017, Majd Mustafa and Mohammad Masri until 14/12/2016.

The judge also extended the arrest of Suhaib Afaneh until 15/2/2016, Mouath Obeid and Mohammad Obeid until 22/12/2016, Daoud Al-Ghoul and Mohammad Rajabi and Mohammad Eshoo (minor) until 9/12/2016, Rami Rabee’ (minor) until 20/2/2016, Mohammad Abu Hummos until 15/12/2016 and Omar Salhab until 1/2/2017.

The judge decided to release Odai Obeid on conditions of house-arrest for 10 days and a 500-NIS bail.
