Arresting the father of Martyr Abu Ghazaleh…extensions of arrests…A Jerusalemite turns himself-in
The occupation forces arrested on Tuesday afternoon Abdel Salam Abu Ghazaleh, father of Martyr Thaer Abu Ghazaleh, and transferred him to Al-Qishleh police station in the Old City of Jerusalem for interrogation.
A Jerusalemite turns himself-in to serve his prison sentence
The 54-year old Abdelrahman Abu Bakir Aweis turned himself-in on Tuesday to serve his 9-month prison sentence. Aweis was arrested on 24/11/2011 and was released after three months on condition of house-arrest and deportation to the village of Abu Ghosh for 12 months. He was then allowed to return home on condition of house-arrest for an additional 4 months. Last September, he was sentenced to 9 months in prison and turned himself-in on Tuesday.
Extending the arrest of young men
Lawyer Mohammad Mahmoud said the judge extended the arrets of Mouath Obeid and Mohammad Samir Obeid until 29/1/2017, Fadi Al-Shawa until 13/2/2017, Tamer Khalfawi and Sami Qunbar and Abdelkareem Shyoukhi until 12/1/2017, Ahmad Diab until 15/1/2017 and Anas Aqra’ until 23/1/2017.
Extending the arrest of minors
The judge also extended the arrest of Basel Aweisat and Mohammad Aweisat until 13/1/2017; Ahmad Shatat, Sami Nasser Eddin and Mousa Dab’ee until 16/3/2017; Khaled Sukhon, Mo’men Dibs, Majd Mustafa, Yazan Abu Asab, Ahmad Salaymeh and Mohammad Abu Asab until 13/2/2017; Omar Za’aneen and Hamed Tamimi until 12/1/2017, and Hamzeh Khweis until 26/4/2017.
Lawyer Mahmoud added that a court session was held for the child Basel Mheisen and he was acquitted of the charges of assaulting policemen, and was accused of helping to assault policemen; the judge extended his arrest until 26/4/2016.
Releases
The police released the child Tamer Darwish with a third-party bail, and released Usama Aweis on condition of house-arrest for 5 days and a third-party bail.
