Extending the arrest of the Jerusalemite activist Mohammad Abu Hummos

The Magistrate judge extended on Saturday night the arrest of the Jerusalemite activist and member of follow-up committee in the village of Esawyeh, Mohammad Abu Hummos, until next Tuesday.

Abu Hummos family explained that Mohammad was presented to court on Saturday night and the judge extended his arrest until next Tuesday to continue interrogating him. Mohammad was arrested on Friday afternoon while monitoring the occupation forces’ raid on the village of Esawyeh.

The occupation forces have been conducting daily raids on the village of Esawyeh during which activist Abu Hummos was targeted by preventing him from taking pictures, detaining his ID and cell phone and forcing him to delete the pictures and videos he took. Recently, they targeted him with a rubber bullet and wounded him in his leg.
