Arrests…A sit-in at Al-Aqsa Mosque under the slogan “We have the right to restore our children”

The occupation forces arrested on Friday afternoon several Jerusalemite children and young men while they were leaving Al-Aqsa Mosque while a sit-in was organized in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa requesting the release of detained Martyrs’ bodies.

Witnesses explained to Wadi Hilweh Information Center that the forces arrested several Jerusalemites while leaving Al-Aqsa Mosque and transferred them to detention centers. Lawyer Mohammad Mahmoud explained that among the detainees were Issa Mohammad Ja’bari (17), Yazan Hisham Ja’bari (16) and Siraj Eddin Marish (14).

The center was also informed that the forces arrested the Jerusalemite activist Mohammad Shalabi after raiding his house in the Old City of Jerusalem; they also raided the neighborhoods of Al-Sowaneh and Wad Al-Joz in Jerusalem.

After the Friday Prayer finished, the forces prevented locals from entering the Mosque and the police were stopping children and young men as they were leaving Al-Aqsa; they searched them and checked their IDs.

A sit-in was organized today in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque requesting the release of detained Martyrs’ bodies under the slogan “We have the right to restore our children”. They raised slogans that had the names and pictures of the detained Martyrs’ bodies, they are: Abdel Hamid Sroor, Mohammad Faqeeh, Musbah Abu Sbeih, Hussam Matar, Rami Awartani, Mohammad Tarayra, Ibrahim Matar and Fadi Qunb
