Arrests…prison sentences…extensions of arrest…releases
The occupation forces arrested on Sunday night two Jerusalemite young men from the village of Esawyeh.
Wadi Hilweh Information Center was informed by Mohammad Abu Hummos (member of follow-up committee in the village of Esawyeh) that clashes broke out in the village between young men and occupation forces while a Musta’ribeen (undercover police) unit raided the area and arrested two young men.
The center was informed that the forces arrested Mohammad Ahmad Atyeh (14) and Mohammad Ma’moon Mahmoud (17).
Prison sentences
- • Samir Atyeh (minor): actual imprisonment for 5 months, a 3-thousand NIS fine and a suspended probation of 4 months for two years.
- • Sami Abu Rmeileh: actual imprisonment for 5 months, a 3-thousand NIS fine and a suspended probation of 4 months for two years.
- • Adel Mahmoud: actual imprisonment for 5 months, a 3-thousand NIS fine and a suspended probation of 4 months for two years.
- • Amer Zidani: actual imprisonment for 12 and a half months, and a suspended probation of 7 months for 3 years.
Extensions of arrest
On the other hand, lawyer Mahmoud explained that the judge extended the arrest of Nour Eddin Mheisen until 16/5/2017, Ahmad Hadreh and Mohammad Mheisen until 9/5/2017 when the conduct officer releases his report, Mohammad Ashweh and Mohammad Zaghal until 26/4/2017, Malek Al-Qaq until 30/4/2017, Mohamamd Atyeh and Mohamamd Abu Hummos until 8/6/2017 and Mohammad Fasfoos until 19/6/2017.
The judge also recently extended the house-arrest imposed o the children Yazan Farroukh and Yousef Hijazi until 24/4/2017; they are allowed to go to school.
Release
The judge decided to release Mohammad Sbitan on condition of house-arrest for 7 days, a 500-NIS bail and a third-party bail. He also released Mohammad Joudeh on condition of adding 2000 NIS to the bail previously imposed on him; he was arrested after violating his releasing conditions. Also, the judge released Khaled Sharif with a 250-NIS bail, a person bail and a 5-thousand NIS third-party bail.
In the same context, the judge decided to release Nour Shalabi with a 1000-NIS bail, house-arrest for 5 days, and deportation from Sheikh Jarrah for 30 days in addition to banning him from participating in any marches for two months
