Sentencing a Jerusalemite for 8 years in prison...arrests…extensions of arrest
The District judge sentenced Mohammad Joulani for 8 years in prison after convicting him of planning to carry out attacks.
On the other hand, the occupation forces arrested Majed Abu Khdeir after raiding his house in the neighborhood of Shu’fat in Jerusalem.
Lawyer Mohammad Mahmoud explained that the judge decided to release Mohammad Abu Rajab, Mohammad Hoshyeh, Suhaib Hindi and Mahmoud Bakri with a 1000-NIS bail and house-arrest for 7 days.
The judge also extended the arrest of Mohammad Atef Amer, Yousef Abu Jom’a, Fayez Burqan, Mohammad Zidani, Mohammad Abu Nab and Mohammad Rajabi until 24/5/2017.
The public prosecution submitted a prosecutor’s permit to submit an indictment against Bashar Dibs, Nour Eddin Taha, Akram Mustafa and Mohammad Abu Nab and extended their arrest until 25/5/2017, and also submitted a prosecutor’s permit to file an indictment against the child Ahmad Sa’eedeh and extended his arrest until 26/5/2017.
The judge decided to release Anas Abu Asab, Yousef Mustafa and Adam Mustafa on condition of house-arrest for 4 days and a third-party bail. He also released Jadallah Rajabi with a 2000-NIS bail, house-arrest and deportation from Silwan to Beit Hanina for 4 days.
The judge also decided to extend the arrest of Hijazi Abu Sbeih and Tayseer Abu Sbeih until 25/5/2017, Izz Eddin Abu Sbeih until 29/5/2017 and Mohammad Mustafa until 1/6/2017.
