Prison sentences…extensions of arrest…conditional releases
The Israeli judge sentenced several Jerusalemites and extended the arrest of several young men and children.
Lawyer Mohammad Mahmoud said the judge sentenced Dia’ Kawasmi for 10 months of actual imprisonment and a suspended probation of 8 months for 3 years while Abdullah Anati was sentenced for 4 months of actual imprisonment, a 3-thousand NIS fine and a suspended probation of 4 months for two years.
Lawyer Mahmoud added that the judge extended the arrest of Yazan Farroukh until 15/6/2017, Mohammad Abu Nab until 28/5/2017 to submit an indictment against him, Suhaib Hindi and Bashar Dibs and Nour Eddin Taha until 5/6/2017 (indictments have been filed against them), Mohammad Dar Taha until 14/6/2017, Mohammad Joulani and Fadi Thaher and Ahmad Mona until 1/6/2017, Yassin Sbeih until completing the legal procedures against him, Areen Za’aneen until 28/5/2017, Thaer Abu Sbeih until 29/5/2017, Mohammad Dakkaq until 4/6/2017, Amin Hamed until 11/7/2017, Akram Mustafa until 28/5/2017 and Musleh Shihadeh until 4/6/2017.
Releases
The judge released Tayseer Abu Sbeih with a 1000-NIS bail and house-arrest for 7 days while Mohammad Shalabi and Tarek Obeidat were released with a 1000-NIS bail, isolation from Al-Aqsa Mosque for 180 days and house-arrest for 7 days.
In the same context, Mohammad Zidani and Mohammad Rajabi were released on condition of house-arrest for 7 days for each while Mohammad Abed Al-Nabi, Mohammad Amro, Yousef Abu Nijmeh and Fayez Burqan were released with a 1000-NIS bail and house-arrest for 7 days. Amjad Shweiki was released on conditions of isolation from the area of Damascus Gate for two month and a third-party bail, and Yehya Risheq was released on condition of house-arrest for 6 days.
