Under the pretext of disturbing settlers…the occupation police fine Al-Msaharati group in the village of Jabal Al-Mukabber
The occupation police objected to the work of Al-Msaharati group (a group that wakes up people before sunrise to get them ready to fast) in the village of Jabal Al-Mukabber and issued fines for four of the group’s members under the pretext of disturbing settlers in the settlements of “Nof Atsion” and “Armon Hanatsiv”.
The group which is part of Jabal Al-Mukabber scouts started working nearly five years ago and expanded their work to cover all the areas of Jabal Al-Mukabber dividing themselves into four squads. While the group members were doing their regular job and were waking people up, they were surrounded by police vehicles at the entrance of the village while another squad was stopped in the area of Al-Sal’a in the village.
Ahmad Mashahra, head of media in the Palestinian Scouts society, explained that the occupation police checked the IDs of the members of Al-Msaharati group near the entrance of the village of Esawyeh and issued 350-NIS fines for four members. They threatened to arrest all the group members that work in the village if they keep on doing what they do.
The police checked the IDs of the squad which was stopped near Al-Sal’a area and threatened to arrest them.
