Silwan- Occupation forces injure an elderly and arrest Jerusalemites
The Israeli occupation forces arrested two Jerusalemites from Silwan and wounded an elderly person after targeting him with a sound grenade in his lower limbs while storming the neighborhoods of Silwan and searching houses.
Wadi Hilweh Information Center explained that the occupation forces stormed the neighborhoods of Silwan, closed some roads and intersections and then established barriers. Meanwhile, they stormed several houses especially in the Middle Neighborhood and Al-Bustan neighborhood.
E center learned that the Israeli occupation forces raided Ziad Zidani's house in Al-Bustan neighborhood and arrested his son Ahmed, 14, from his house. They also fired sound grenades and rubber bullets near the door of the house causing the injury of 65-year old Ziad Zidani by a sound grenade in his lower limbs; he was transferred to the hospital for treatment.
In the Middle Neighborhood in Silwan, Israeli occupation forces raided and searched a number of houses, searching for young men wearing black shirts. While the forces were present in the alleys of the neighborhood, sound bombs were randomly fired targeting pedestrians. Some of them were wounded by shrapnel. The forces arrested 17-year old Ahmad Kathem Abu Rajab.
