In an ambush to a freed prisoner…arresting 8 Jerusalemites from the village of Esawyeh
The Israeli occupation forces arrested on Tuesday, 8 Jerusalemites, in an ambush at the entrance of the village of Esawyeh.
Mohammed Abu Hummos, member of the follow-up committee in Esawyeh, explained that the occupation special forces, police and undercover police (Musta’ribeen) blocked the way of a group of vehicles at the entrance of the village, transporting the freed prisoner Anas Ali Dirbas and his family. The Musta’ribeen fired several shots and the soldiers fired grenades to prevent the locals from approaching.
He added that the Israeli soldiers stopped the vehicles by force, and forced all those inside to get out of them. They pushed them, beat them, blindfolded them and detained them in the street. Then they took them to the police cars, and from there to the entrance of the village where they were taken to other vehicles and then to the detention centers.
Abu Hummos said that the detainees were: freed prisoner Anas Dirbas, his father Ali Dirbas 60, his brother Mohammad, and a group of family and friends: Sa’eb Dirbas, Majd Bashir, Mohammad Amjad Dirbas, Mohammad Abed Mahmoud and Karim Atyeh.
Abu Hummos added that the occupation authorities seized three cars belonging to Dirbas family.
