Silwan- A Jerusalemite self-demolishes his house
The occupation municipality forced Ahmed Mousa Abbasi to self-demolish his house in the neighborhood of Ras Al-Amoud in Silwan, under the pretext of building without a permit.
Ahmad Abbasi, 48, said that the municipality issued a decision to demolish his house about a month and a half ago. They returned and stormed his house yesterday and ordered him to demolish it within two weeks. He immediately had to self-demolish it to avoid paying fines and demolition fees for municipal staff.
Abbasi said that he began building his house last October, and it was still under construction, with a total area of 100 square meters.
