Demolishing residential and agricultural facilities in the city of Jerusalem

The Israeli occupation forces along with bulldozers demolished on Monday residential and agricultural facilities in the villages of Jabal Al-Mukabber and Sur Baher and Silwan in Jerusalem.

Wadi Hilweh Information Center/ Silwan learned that the Israeli occupation forces accompanied by the police and Special Forces stormed several neighborhoods in Jabal Al-Mukabber and Sur Baher and Silwan and carried out a series of demolitions and razing of agricultural structures under the pretext of building without a permit.

The information center also learned that the Israeli bulldozers demolished a residential structure built from tin platesowned by Ahmed Khalaf Ja'abees, where five people lived.

Emad Abu Sharifeh from the village of Jabal Al-Mukabber explained that the occupation’s bulldozers demolished three rooms with a total area of 150 square meters, and a 140-square meter residential barracks and a 40-square meter warehouse.

The Israeli occupation forces also demolished two barracks owned by Jamal Shkeirat, and a 40-square meter barracks used for storage, a 50-square-meter container owned by Mohammed Adel Shkeirat, two barracks for sheep and chicken owned by Fawzi Maswadeh, two barracks used for planting owned by Ya'qub Abu Sneineh.

The center added that the Israeli occupation forces razed and demolished walls of bricks and iron owned by Salah Shkeirat and Khalil Shkeirat.

The bulldozers also demolished "5 caravans" owned by Awni Othman and an agricultural barracks for Ismaeel Obeidyeh.

In the village of Sur Baher, Mahmoud Abed Rabbo self-demolished the balcony of his house, under the pretext of building without a permit. The municipality also demolished a sheep barracks belonging to the Abu Kaf family.

The bulldozers also demolished a parking lot in Al-Thori neighborhood in the village of Silwan.
