Prison sentences, fines and deportation from Issawiya village
On Tuesday, the Israeli occupation authorities deported two Jerusalemites from the village of Issawiya for one week, while the courts sentenced three Jerusalemites.
Wadi Hilweh Information Center explained that the judges of the occupation court issued verdicts of imprisonment in addition to fines and compensation for settlers against three young Jerusalemite men.
• Mohammed al-Ghoul sentenced to 12 months in prison, a fine of NIS 2000, and NIS 8800 compensation to settlers.
• Yousef Khdour was sentenced to 5 months 'imprisonment, 6 months' suspension for 3 years, and a fine of NIS 3600.
• Hussein Obeid was sentenced to pay a fine of NIS 10,000 and a 6-month suspended sentence for 3 years.
The occupation authorities released two members of the parents’committee in Issawiya, Yaser Darwish - Secretary ofFateh movement in Issawiya - and Mahmoud Fayez Mahmoud, on condition of deportation from the village ofIssawiya until 11/11/2019.
The judges extended the arrest of the boys: Wassim Dari, Ismail Mheisen and Omar Mahmoud until 7/11/2019, and Munther Abu Shkheidem until 17/12/2019.
