Funeral processions of Martyr Faris Abu Nab
On Tuesday evening,hundreds of Jerusalemites participated in the funeral processions of Martyr Faris Bassam Abu Nab.
Wadi Hilweh Information Center explained that the Israeli authorities handed over the body of the Martyr on Tuesday evening at "Hadassah Issawiya" hospital, after detaining it for three days.
The funeral of the martyr started from Al-Fateh Mosque in Ras Al-Amoud neighborhood in Silwan, after prayers, towards Lions Gate cemetery amid chants of “God is Great”.
The center added that the Israeli occupation authorities tried to prevent the funeral from passing and heading towards Lions Gate under the pretext of repeating chants of “God is Great”, but the young men continued going forward towards the cemetery where the Martyr was buried.
After the funeral, clashes broke out in the neighborhood of Ras al-Amoud between youths and the Israeli occupation forces, which were heavily deployed in the area.
Martyr Abu Nab was shot by the Israeli occupation forces last Sunday morning, at the tunnel checkpoint south of Bethlehem.
