Arresting the Staff of Palestine TV During the “Good Morning Jerusalem” Show

Today, Friday, the Occupation Forces arrested the staff of Palestine TV in Jerusalem, during its weekly program, “Good Morning, Jerusalem.” They also arrested a released prisoner,  one of the guests on the show.

Wadi Hilweh Information Center explained that the occupation intelligence arrested Palestine TV staff from two filming sites, from Mount of Olives and from Bab Al Amoud area

The center added that the forces arrested the program hostess, Dana Abu Shamsieh, and cameraman Amir Abed Rabo, and the guest on the program, released prisoner, Mohamed Abbasi, from Mount of Olives, after raiding the filming location, and confiscating the cameras.

At Bab Al Amoud, after the journalist Christine Renawi and Ali Yassin finished filming the show and ending the episode, the  Israeli forces arrested them and confiscated the photographic equipment from Ali the cameraman.

Last month, the Minister of Internal Security issued a decision to close the Palestine TV office in Jerusalem and prevent it from working for 6 months under the pretext of “carrying out activities for the Authority, on its behalf, or under its auspices, within the State of Israel without a permit in accordance with the law,” according to the decision.
