Pictures and details- Occupation municipality execute two demolitions in Jabal Al-Mukabber and Issawiya
On Tuesday, the Israeli occupation municipality’s bulldozers demolished executed two demolitions in Jabal Al-Mukabber and Issawiya villages, on the pretext of building without a permit.
Wadi Hilweh Information Center stated that the occupation forces surrounded a house belonging to Shkeirat family in "Khalat al-Abed" in Jabal Al-Mukabber, evicted the residents and left them in the open despite the cold weather and prevented them from taking out the contents of their house, then the municipal crews took out some furniture and started the demolition process.
Shkeirat family explained that the house was built in 2016, divided into 3 homes where Muntaser Salah Shkeirat, his wife and their child, and Amin Salah Shkeirat and his wife and four children lived; they house had and area of 260 square meters.
Muntaser Shkeirat stated that the occupation municipality imposed a NIS 120,000 fine on him for “unlicensed construction", and the family was committed to payingthe monthly payment. He pointed out that the municipality surrounded the house last month to demolish it but he was able to freeze the demolition order. On Monday night, the court issued an order refusing to freeze the demolition and the crews immediately implement the decision on Tuesday early morning hours.
In the village of Issawiya, the occupation municipality demolished a residential building belonging to Jamal Ata Alayan.
Alayan explained that the occupation bulldozers demolished his building while it was under construction, under the pretext of building without a permit. The building consisted of two floors.
Alayan explained that the municipality demolished his residential building in the middle of last year, and after several months he started building a second building to be able to live with his family, and began the licensing procedures, but the municipality carried out the demolition.
After the demolition process was completed, the Israeli occupation forces fired sound grenades and tear gas canister in the village of Issawiya.
