Silwan - A Boy was Arrested after Being Wounded ... and Settlers Fire Live Bullets

This evening, Monday, the Israeli occupation forces arrested a young boy, after he was wounded in the face in Batn Al Hawa neighborhood in Silwan.

Witnesses told Wadi Hilweh Information Center that settlers’ guards attacked the young men who were in the neighborhood. During that, verbal quarrels and physical fights took place. Then, the settlers’ guards randomly fired live bullets in the area.

 The witnesses added that the occupation forces stormed the place within minutes, and supported the settlers in the attack, by hitting the residents and throwing sound bombs intensely without stopping the aggression of the settlers’ guards.

Witnesses added that the settlers' guards detained the young boy Adam Abu Ramouz, severely beat him, arrested him, and then handed him over to the occupation forces.

Witnesses explained that the young boy Abu Ramouz was arrested while bleeding from his face and head, and was taken to an unknown destination.

Occupation officers and large forces stormed Batn Al Hawa neighborhood and spread over its neighborhoods extensively.

The center added that many of the residents were injured by the shrapnel of sound bombs and got various bruises, as a result of being attacked by the settlers’ guards and the occupation forces.
