Arresting the governor of Jerusalem

On Sunday morning, the Israeli occupation forces arrested the governor of Jerusalem, Adnan Gheith, after storming and searching his house in the village of Silwan in Jerusalem.

Wadi Hilweh Information Center learned that the occupation forces and intelligence services stormed the house of Governor Adnan Gheith in the Central Neighborhood / Silwan after besieging it, then proceeded to search it and destroyed its contents, during which verbal altercations with members of his family broke out.

The center has also learned that the occupation forces transferred the governor to Al-Maskobyeh police station for investigation on charges of "violating Israeli sovereignty in Jerusalem and working for the Palestinian Authority."

The forces also arrested Saed Al-A’war and Mohammad Subhi Zalloum after storming their homes in Silwan at dawn.
