Corona virus- A woman from Silwan passes away and two new cases in Jabal Al-Mukabber and Issawiya

Through the minarets of Wad Qaddoum Mosque in Silwan, it was announced that, Nfouz Julani Jubeh, had died of coronavirus.

Wadi Hilweh Information Center learned that the woman died in Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital, and announced that she had contracted the virus on the eighth of last month, along with her husband, Ali Jubeh.

The Imam of Al-Shafi’i Mosque, Wad Qaddoum, explained that the woman had contracted the virus while she was hospitalized, and she died today in Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital after her health condition deteriorated.

Coronavirus infections began in the Wad Qaddoum neighborhood, then spread to most of its neighborhoods, "Wadi Hilweh, Ras Al-Amoud, Al-Bustan, Ein Al-Lozeh and Al-Thori", where more than 50 infections were recorded.

The campaign called "Your awareness Protects You" in Jabal Al-Mukabber announced this evening that a girl was infected with the virus, after contracting it from her family members, as her father and three sisters tested positive for the virus last week.

The campaign added the number of infections in the village rose to 8 people.

It was also announced that an elderly person had contracted the virus in the village of Issawiya, and the number of confirmed cases had increased to 9.
