Pictures- Demolishing a building in Shu’fat refugee camp in Jerusalem
On Monday, the Jerusalem municipality's bulldozers demolished a two-story apartment building in Shu’fat refugee camp in Jerusalem.
Wadi Hilweh Information Center explained that the occupation’s bulldozers, accompanied by dozens of soldiers, stormed Shu’fat refugee camp, and spread along its main street and inside its neighborhoods, and then raided the area of "Ras Shehada" and surrounded the building of Ehab Alqam to implement the demolition decision.
Hasan Alqam explained that the bulldozers demolished the two-storey building, despite the family filing an objection to the Supreme Court and depositing an amount of 40,000 shekels, as the demolition process took place before the end of the specified period for objection.
Alqam added that the building was constructed since the beginning of this year, and the municipality issued the demolition order on the pretext of "building without a permit and proximity to the separation wall."
During the demolition, the Israeli forces arrested one of the boys.
