Silwan- Leaking a house to settlers by its owner
On Tuesday, settlers took control of a house in the neighborhood of Wadi Al-Rababeh in Silwan, after it was “leaked” to them by its owner, Nasser Abdel Qader Farroukh.
Ahmed Farroukh explained to Wadi Hilweh Information Center that his uncle Nasser sold the house to the settlers about 4 months ago, and he moved to live in Beit Hanina. During the last period, one of the brokers resided in the house, and recently, members of the Farroukh family managed to evict the broker and change the house locks, and on Tuesday the settlers entered it through the windows.
Farroukh added that the occupation municipality issued a demolition order to his uncle Nasser’s house, on the pretext of "building without a permit on a land for a Jewish cemetery". After several days, the settlers offered his uncle to purchase the property and he actually sold it to them.
Farroukh explained that the house consists of two floors.
