After 13 months of house arrest…sentencing three boys from Silwan

Monday, the District Court issued a verdict of imprisonment for three boys from the town of Silwan.

Wadi Hilweh Information Center’s lawyer explained that the court had sentenced the two boys, Omar Abu Al-Saud, 17, and Tayseer Abdul-Nabi Al-Natsheh, 17, to an actual 11-month prison term, and Musa Ahmed Nasser, 16 years old, to 10 months in prison, in addition to paying a fine of 4 thousand shekels for each.

The Center stated that the boys were arrested at the end of April 2020, and charged with "throwing Molotov cocktails” in the Ras al-Amoud neighborhood, and after several sessions they were released on condition of house arrest and deportation from the place of residence in the Ras al-Amoud neighborhood in Silwan, and after several months they were allowed to go home on condition that they remain under house arrest.
