Injuries during a raid on the houses of the Ghaith family…including the house of the Governor of Jerusalem…Arrests
Four Jerusalemites were injured, at dawn Monday, during the storming of homes for the Ghaith family in the town of Silwan, in Jerusalem.
The Red Crescent in Jerusalem stated that its crews provided field treatment for 4 injuries sustained as a result of the beating.
The Wadi Hilweh Information Center - Jerusalem stated that the occupation forces stormed the homes of the Ghaith family in Silwan, severely beat the residents and threw sound grenades inside the houses.
The center stated that the forces assaulted the governor of Jerusalem by beating and pushing him, which led to him having bruises in his hand.
The occupation forces arrested Walid Adel Ghaith, Hamza Nidal Ghaith, and Rabee’ Hamza Ghaith.
They also stormed the house of the Al-Zaghal family, and arrested Abdullah Al-Zaghal.
In the morning hours, the occupation forces stormed the home of the Dandis family in Wadi Qaddoum neighborhood in Silwan, and arrested the two young men, Obada and Mahmoud Dandis.
Sunday witnessed a wide campaign of arrests, especially among the family members of the martyr Fadi Abu Shkheidem. The information center explained that the forces carried out a large-scale campaign of arrests on Sunday. The arrests included: Aya Abu Shkheidem, the child Abdullah Abu Shkheidem, Shadi Abu Shkheidem, Basil Abu Shkheidem, Hussam Abu Shkheidem, Wissam Abu Shkheidem, Abdul Karim Abu Kharoub, Sultan Halisi, Al-Baraa Beboh, Qusai Shehab, Hussein Attia, Ali Tawil, and the brothers Khader, Bilal, Sultan and Mohammad Abu Al-Hummus after storming their house in Issawiya village and severely assaulting them.
