Hundreds of settlers storm Al-Aqsa courtyards

On Wednesday, hundreds of settlers stormed the courtyards Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The Islamic Endowments Department said that 1,180 settlers stormed Al-Aqsa during the incursions periods.

On Wednesday, the highest number of intruders was recorded during the "Jewish Passover" holiday periods. During the previous days, the number of intruders was 545, 561, and 622, while on Wednesday the number was 1180 settlers, bringing the total number of intruders since Sunday to 2,908 settlers.

Among the intruders were rabbis, leaders and founders of the "alleged temple groups". During the storming, the settlers performed prayers inside Al-Aqsa courtyards, and at its gates from the outside, especially at "Al-Silsileh Gate” upon exit after the intrusion ended."

The forces assaulted those in Al-Aqsa since the early morning hours "before the time of the storming" by pushing, evicting the young men, pushing away the women, and besieging the young men inside the al-Qibli prayer hall.

The forces fired rubber bullets at the besieged youths inside the al-Qibli prayer hall, to secure the settlers' incursions.

Five injuries were recorded, including fractures to the hand, in addition to injuries with rubber bullets.

The occupation forces arrested a teacher from Al-Aqsa School and 3 of its students, as they were leaving Hutta Gate, and took them to Lions Gate police station.

In the town of Silwan, the forces arrested Qusai Ja’afra, after storming his house.

In the late hours of Tuesday evening, the forces arrested two boys from Beit Hanina.
