The Al-Natsheh brothers…deportation from Jerusalem and under house arrest
On Thursday, the occupation authorities released two Jerusalemite brothers, on the condition that they be deported from the city of Jerusalem and placed under house arrest until “the legal procedures against them are completed.”
The Jerusalemite PrisonersFamiliesCommittee stated that the administration of the Negev Prison released on Thursday evening the two young brothers, Naeem Ayed Al-Natsheh, 23, and TarekAyed Al-Natsheh, 21, after spending 5 months in the occupation prisons.
The committee explained that the court decided to release the two brothers under the following conditions: house arrest with an electronic bracelet to determine movement, deportation from the city of Jerusalem, payment of cash guarantees, and signing of financial guarantees to ensure compliance to the house arrest.
The committee added that the court prevented the two brothers from staying in the same house, so the family had to rent two separate houses in the village of Abu Ghosh "to spend the period of house arrest." Tarek lives in a house with two sponsors, and Naim lives in another house with two other sponsors.
The occupation forces arrested the two brothers, Al-Natsheh, on April 17, 2022, from Lions Gate area in Jerusalem, and charged them with "assaulting settlers."
On the other hand, the police released three boys from the Old City of Jerusalem: Muhammad Qos, Ja’far Al-Bashiti, and Abdullah Al-Hashlamon, after their arrest from Al-Aqsa Mosque, as explained by the lawyer of the Wadi Hilweh Information Center Mohammad Mahmoud.
The Jerusalemite journalist Lama Ghosheh is under house arrest, after a court decision to release her on condition of house arrest in her family's home in Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, until the end of legal procedures against her.
