Expulsion from Al-Aqsa…Arrest and assault at Shu’fat refugee camp checkpoint

On Saturday evening, the occupation forces arrested a young man from Shu’fat refugee camp, while two girls were released on the condition that they be expelled from Al-Aqsa.

The Wadi Hilweh Information Center - Jerusalem stated that the occupation forces, stationed at the Shu’fat refugee camp checkpoint, arrested a young man at the checkpoint after checking his identity card and prevented him from crossing, during which they assaulted and severely beat him and threw sound bombs to disperse the people present in the area.

The center added that the forces arrested the young man, Amir Mohammad, 22, after he sustained bruises and cuts to the face as a result of the assault on him, and he was transferred while he was under arrest for treatment by ambulance.

On the other hand, the occupation authorities expelled Shahd Hamouda and Hanadi Hamouda from Al-Aqsa for two weeks.

The forces arrested the two girls after stopping them while they were trying to enter Al-Aqsa.

The forces also arrested a young man from the Damascus Gate area in Jerusalem.
