On Friday, the Jerusalemite Mahran Al-Disi continued to self-demolish his house in the Jaffa Gate area, in the Old City of Jerusalem, by a decision of the occupation municipality, under the pretext of building without a permit.
The young man, Mahran Al-Disi, explained to the Wadi Hilweh Information Center - Jerusalem, that the municipality issued last July a decision to demolish his house, and he was unable to freeze the decision or license the house.
He added: "About 10 days ago, the police informed me of the need to implement the demolition decision before "next Sunday", and in the event that he doesn’t demolish it, the municipality will do so and therefore impose on me the "demolition fee" for the municipality staff, the police and the accompanying forces."
Al-Disi added that he had to carry out the demolition decision with his own hands, pointing out that the house had existed for 14 years, and financial violations were imposed on him.
The area of the house is 50 square meters, and 5 people lived in it.
