On Sunday, the Radaydeh family self-demolished its house in Ras al-Amoud neighborhood in Silwan.
The Radaydeh family explained that the municipality issued a decision to demolish their house, which was ready for habitation, and refused to postpone or freeze the demolition decision and the house license.
The family added that the house was built 4 years ago, and its area is about 150 square meters. The municipality issued a notice to stop work on the house, and after a few days it issued a demolition decision.
The young man, Fadi Radaydeh, explained that he was about to finish preparing his house and start preparing for his wedding, which was scheduled for next May, but the municipality issued a demolition decision and forced him to implement it.
