The forces carried out the demolition operation, which lasted from about nine in the morning until three in the afternoon, using manual demolition tools and light devices, as it is on the sixth floor of a residential building.

The forces demolished the interior walls, then closed the main door of the apartment, to prevent entry to it, and placed on it a "demolition risk, no entry."

The forces tore down and vandalized the pictures of the martyr that were hung on the door of the apartment and in the streets of the camp.

During the hours of the demolition, sporadic clashes erupted between the forces and the youths, and the forces used gas bombs massively, fired by the soldiers and the drone that flew over the area, targeting the residential houses, noting that the bombs continued when the students left their schools in the camp and were on their way to their homes from Jerusalem. The forces also used rubber bullets and live ammunition.

The occupation forces arrested a number of young men and boys during the storming of the area. Among them were: Ali Hamdan, Nadim Alayan, and Zain Salameh.
