Arrests…extensions of arrests…prison sentences
The occupation police extended, on Wednesday evening the detention of the Jerusalemite Radwan Amro until Thursday.
The Amro family explained that the intelligence and occupation forces stormed the house of their son Radwan in the Abbasyeh neighborhood in the town of Silwan, and arrested him after calling him by phone to come to the house immediately, then transferred him to the "Al-Qishla" police center and extended his detention, to be presented to the court on Thursday.
The occupation forces also arrested the boy, Amir Zghayyar, from Al-Wad Street in the Old City of Jerusalem.
On Wednesday afternoon, the occupation forces stormed the Bi’er Ayoub neighborhood in the town of Silwan, stopped vehicles and checked identity cards, and also arrested young men. During that, they arrested a child and took him, accompanied by his father, to a police car and subjected him to field investigation.
On Wednesday morning, the "light rail guards" assaulted a school student while he was inside the train in the Shu’fat area. The guard called the police which arrived and arrested him.
On the other hand, the District Court issued a prison sentence against 3 Jerusalemite prisoners.
Mohammad Mahmoud, a lawyer for the Wadi Hilweh Information Center - Jerusalem, explained that the judge sentenced Hussein Attia to an actual imprisonment of 5 years and 5 months, and Hussein Obaid to an actual imprisonment of 46 months, and Nayef Obaid to an actual imprisonment of 44 months.
