A petition to the court to demand the handover of the body of the martyr Wadi’ Abu Rammouz
The lawyer of the Wadi Hilweh Information Center - Jerusalem, Mohammad Mahmoud, submitted a petition to the Israeli Supreme Court, to hand over the body of the Jerusalem martyr Wadi’ Aziz Abu Rammouz for burial.
Lawyer Mahmoud also demanded that Abu Rammouz not be buried in the "numbers' cemetery."
Lawyer Mohammad Mahmoud explained that the court gave the Public Prosecution until 26/3/2023 to respond to the petition, and not to bury the body until a decision on the petition was issued.
The boy, Wadi’ Abu Rammouz, from the town of Silwan, was martyred on the 27th of last January, two days after he was injured in the town. Despite the critical health condition of the boy before his death, the forces continued to arrest him and tie him to the treatment bed, in addition to the presence of a force inside and outside the room, and immediately after announcing his death, his body was kept in refrigerators.
