A siege on Al-Aqsa…Hundreds of arrests and storming the mosque again

The occupation forces stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque, immediately after the end of the Dawn prayer, while the number of arrests from Al-Aqsa increased.

The Wadi Hilweh Information Center - Jerusalem stated that the occupation forces, in large numbers, accompanied by officers, stormed Al-Aqsa through the Dung Gate, after the end of the Dawn prayer and the exit of the worshipers from the Al-Qibli prayer hall and their presence in the squares.

The center added that the forces marched in the Al-Qibli prayer hall, then withdrew towards the Dung Gate square, and within moments, suddenly, they fired rubber bullets randomly at the worshipers, then arrested two of them.

The center stated that the forces prevented worshipers under the age of 50 from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque, and imposed restrictions on the entry of women and men.

Dozens performed the Dawn prayer in the streets of the Old City and on the thresholds of Al-Aqsa, after they were prevented from entering.

The occupation forces suppressed those present in the Lions Gate area with stun grenades and beatings with batons.

Arrests from Al-Aqsa

In an update that took place at five o'clock in the morning with Firas Al-Jabrini, the lawyer of the Wadi Hilweh Information Center - Jerusalem, he explained that the number of arrests from Al-Aqsa Mosque is between 400-500 arrests, and all the detainees were transferred by buses to the "Atarot" police.

Lawyer Al-Jabrini explained that the transfer of detainees is still ongoing to Atarot, and for this reason the final number of arrests has not been announced.

Al-Jabrini added, according to his follow-up to the arrests, most of the detainees will be released on the condition that they be deported from Al-Aqsa and the Old City.

Lawyer al-Jabrini, who is in the Atarot police station, pointed out that there are injuries among the detainees.

Clashes

Violent clashes broke out in the village of Issawiya, and the Musta’ribeen individuals "undercover unit" stormed the village and arrested the young man, Nasr Bilal Darwish.

In the town of Al-Tur, violent clashes broke out as well.

Attack on worshipers in the morning

In the early hours of the morning, the occupation forces beat the worshipers while they were performing the Duha prayer.
