The municipality demolishes a residential apartment and a wall For the second consecutive day, bulldozers and crews of the Israeli occupation municipality carried out demolition operations in the city of Jerusalem, under the pretext of building without a license.
The Wadi Hilweh Information Center- Jerusalem, explained that the municipality carried out a demolition operation in the Shu’fat refugee camp for a retaining wall, then demolished a residential apartment in the town of Al-Tur, with the support and guard of the Israeli forces that deployed in the demolition areas and closed the roads.

Ziad Abu Sbitan explained that the municipal crews and forces broke into his house in the morning, to implement a demolition order for a residential apartment "on the top floor of a 5- story residential building", explaining that the top floor is a "roof" that was built from "reinforced steel" 6 months ago and is ready for housing.
Abu Sbitan explained that the court had issued an order to demolish the apartment two months ago, and the forces stormed the house several days ago and gave him a week to implement the demolition order, but before the deadline expired, the forces stormed the house in this morning and carried out the demolition order, and refused to postpone it or allow the family to demolish it themselves.
Abu Sbitan pointed out that the forces were stationed on all the balconies of the apartments in the residential building and imposed their restrictions on the residents and the people in their homes, and also ascended the roofs of the neighboring buildings.
During the demolition process, the forces attacked the residents several times, and closed the roads and prevented the passage of vehicles and buses during the demolition process.

The forces stormed the "Ras Khamis" area at 3:00 a.m., and the municipal bulldozers demolished a retaining wall built on the land of the Alqam family surrounding a 2-dunom area of land.
The Alqam family explained that the retaining wall has been in place for 3 years, and surrounds land planted with fruit trees.
The Wadi Hilweh Information Center pointed out that the bulldozers demolished two apartments for the two brothers Wafi and Bahjat Al-Tawil on Tuesday in the Abbasyeh neighborhood in the town of Silwan, and also forced Nasri al-Rajabi to self-demolish his house in Beit Hanina.
