December 18, 2023

On the 73rd day of “Al-Aqsa Flood Operation”, the occupation authorities continued their siege of Al-Aqsa Mosque and their deployment in the streets of Jerusalem, and the raids into the towns and neighborhoods of the city continued.

The Wadi Hilweh Information Center - Jerusalem explained that 97 settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque, during the morning and afternoon incursion periods, through the Dung Gate, the keys of which have been controlled by the occupation authorities since the occupation of Jerusalem in 1967.

The settlers performed their prayers during the storming of Al-Aqsa.

For the third month in a row, the occupation authorities continue to impose restrictions on the entry of worshipers into Al-Aqsa Mosque, and allow the entry of small numbers of worshipers, most of whom are elderly people and women. The forces stationed at the gates of Al-Aqsa tighten the procedures for entering Al-Aqsa in conjunction with the times of the five daily prayers.

In addition, raids on towns and neighborhoods in the city of Jerusalem, arrests, and summonses continued.
