Day 194: Jerusalem during “Al-Aqsa Flood” Operation
On the 194th day of "Al-Aqsa Flood Operation", dozens of settlers carried out their incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque. The raids on Jerusalemite towns and neighborhoods continued, and checkpoints were set up in the streets of the city of Jerusalem.
On Wednesday, 115 extremists carried out their incursions into Al-Aqsa during the morning and afternoon incursion periods, during which they performed collective and public prayers, guarded by the police forces that accompanied them.
Meanwhile, the “Temple Mount Religious School” called for holding a festive musical program, on Thursday morning, at the Umayyad palaces, then storming Al-Aqsa and holding the Passover prayer inside Al-Aqsa.
On Thursday, is Ascension Day, or “Aliya Day” for the Jews, and it is the day before the Hebrew Passover.
At dawn Wednesday, the forces stormed the Shu’fat refugee camp and arrested the boy, Ahmed Jaber. They stormed the camp again in the afternoon and threw bombs randomly in its streets.
The court sentenced the young man, Muhammad Shqeirat, to 30 months in prison, and the young man, Amir al-Sayyad, to 24 months in prison.
Meanwhile, the “Municipality and Nature and Parks Authority” crews bulldozed the “Friday Market” land located along the northeastern side of the Jerusalem Wall, in preparation for implementing a “garden,” within the “Gardens around the Old City Wall” project.
The land belongs to the “Owais, Hamad, and Atallah” families, and it was controlled and bulldozing operations were carried out in it last February.
