Day 223 Jerusalem during “Al-Aqsa Flood” Operation
On the 223rd day of "Al-Aqsa Flood Operation", the Jerusalemite boy, Nour Nizar Shihabi, 17 years old, was martyred. Settlers’ raids on Al-Aqsa Mosque continued, and forces’ raids on towns and neighborhoods in the city of Jerusalem continued.
The lawyer of Wadi Hilweh Information Center - Jerusalem, Mohammad Mahmoud, explained that the boy, Nour Nizar Shihabi, 17 years old, from the Al-Sowaneh neighborhood in Jerusalem, was martyred after being shot in the Herods Gate area.
Lawyer Khaldoun Najm explained to the center that the forces stormed the family home and arrested the martyr’s parents, and after hours of interrogation they released them.
The police said in a statement that the boy attempted to carry out a stabbing attack in the Herods Gate area at three o’clock in the morning.
The occupation authorities detained the body of the martyr and kept it in their refrigerators.
On Thursday morning, municipal crews, accompanied by police, stormed neighborhoods in the town of Silwan.
On Thursday, 144 settlers stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa, during the morning and afternoon incursion periods.
In the town of Silwan, forces stormed the home of the Sumrein family in the Wadi Hilweh neighborhood, searching for the 4-year-old child, Aser Sumrein, under the pretext of “throwing a stone at a vehicle belonging to the settlers’ guards,” which the family denied, as they were surprised by the raid on their home.
The forces also continued to set up police checkpoints in the streets of Jerusalem.
In the hours before midnight, the forces arrested a young man from the town of Silwan.
