Day 239 Jerusalem during “Al-Aqsa Flood” Operation
On the 239th day of "Al-Aqsa Flood Operation", the raids on towns and neighborhoods in the city of Jerusalem continued, and checkpoints were set up in the city's streets.
The Wadi Hilweh Information Center - Jerusalem explained that the forces stormed several neighborhoods in the town of Silwan, and set up checkpoints on the roads.
In the Old City, the forces arrested a boy while trying to enter Al-Aqsa through King Faisal Gate.
On the other hand, the “Israeli Knesset” will hold a discussion day on Sunday, in partnership with the “Union of Temple Organizations” to discuss ways to change the identity of Al-Aqsa Mosque, at the invitation of the extremist Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gavir and Knesset Member Yitzhak Kreuzer, and in partnership with the “Union of Temple Organizations”, as the "Jerusalem Day" approaches, the anniversary of the occupation of the eastern part of the city.
Rabbis, presidents, and students from extremist religious schools, along with members of the Knesset, participate in this discussion day, and it begins at 11:30 in the morning.
In a related matter, Israeli media reported last weekend that the police had approved the annual “flags march” commemorating the occupation of Jerusalem, through Damascus Gate and all the way to the Al-Buraq Wall, passing through Al-Wad Street in the Old City of Jerusalem, which is scheduled to take place next Wednesday.
The alleged Temple groups began calling for massive raids on Al-Aqsa next Wednesday and raising Israeli flags inside it during the morning and afternoon incursion periods, and in the afternoon to participate in the “flags dance” march that starts from west Jerusalem towards Damascus Gate and Al-Wad Street to the Al-Buraq Wall.
