On the 416th day of "Al-Aqsa Flood” operation, a settler stormed a mosque in the village of Beit Safafa, dozens of settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque, municipality crews stormed the village of Issawiya, and raids continued in towns and neighborhoods in Jerusalem, while the court sentenced a boy to 12 years in prison.

A settler storms "Hamza Mosque"

A settler stormed Hamza Mosque in the middle of the village of Beit Safafa on Monday afternoon to pray there.

The worshipers who were in the mosque to perform the noon prayer confronted the settler and forced him to leave it.

The settler tried to provoke the worshipers by telling them that he has the right to pray in the mosque, but the worshipers forced him to leave the mosque.

Al-Aqsa Mosque

123 extremists stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque, under the protection of the occupation forces, during the two incursion periods "morning and afternoon", through the Dung Gate, whose keys have been controlled by the occupation authorities since the occupation of Jerusalem.

The occupation municipality crews, accompanied by police officers, stormed the village of Issawiya, and the crews posted demolition notices and summonses to follow up with the municipality.

A Jerusalemite boy sentenced to 12 years in prison

The District Court issued a sentence of 12 years in prison for the boy Ja’far Mtour, 16 years old, on charges of "stabbing a settler" in the Old City of Jerusalem.

The boy Ja’far Mtour was arrested on 13/2/2023 from Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the police said at the time that he carried out the operation and went to Al-Aqsa.

The court renewed the administrative detention of the young man Mohammad Abu Sbeih for 4 months; he is from Silwan.

Arrests

The raids on towns and neighborhoods in the city of Jerusalem continued. At dawn, the forces raided the Shu’fat refugee camp and arrested a young man.

In the afternoon, they raided the town of Al-Tur and arrested 3 young men.

In the evening, they raided the town of Silwan and arrested two young men.

The forces threw bombs in the Batn al-Hawa neighborhood in Silwan during the raid, and also assaulted the residents, which led to the injury of Nader Rajabi as he sustained various bruises and wounds before being arrested.
