On the seventh day of the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, the occupation authorities released 15 Jerusalemite prisoners "holding blue IDs", in the second batch of the deal in the first phase.

The Wadi Hilweh Jerusalem Information Center explained that 13 Jerusalemite prisoners were deported from the city of Jerusalem.

The center explained that those released and deported from the city of Jerusalem are: Wael Qasem, Mohammad Odeh, Wissam Al-Abbasi, Ishaq Arafa, Samer Al-Atrash, Abdullah Al-Sharbati, Ammar Sidqi Abu Ghalous, Sajid Ahmed Abu Ghalous, Khaled Qutteineh, Omar Al-Sharif, Fahmi Mashahra, his brother Ramadan Mashahra, and Mohammad Al-Salaymeh.

Ashraf Zghayar and Naseem Al-Za’tari were also released.

The center added that all those released today in the exchange deal are serving life sentences, with the exception of prisoner Mohammad Al-Salaymeh, who was sentenced to 25 years in prison, of which he served 9 years.

The occupation authorities released the two Jerusalemite prisoners, Al-Za’tari and Zghayar, from Ofer prison, and after their arrival in the city of Ramallah, they were received by their family members.

About two hours after the release of the Jerusalemite prisoner Ashraf Zghayar and his arrival to his home in Kufor Aqab, a large force stormed the house and assaulted those present by beating and pushing them until they were forced out and removed from the place. During the storming, the forces fired sound bombs intensively, and during the siege of the house, they used live ammunition, and immediately upon their withdrawal from the site, they fired tear gas bombs.

The forces arrested Amir Zghayar, the brother of the released prisoner Ashraf.

The forces vandalized the contents of the prisoner Zghayar’s home and destroyed its contents, and the siege of the house continued for about an hour.

The Red Crescent said that a 14-year-old child was injured in Kufor Aqab.

The forces also stormed the vicinity of the home of the released prisoner Naseem Al-Za’tari in the town of Al-Ram.
