Prison sentences and arrests

Israeli courts issued prison sentences against Jerusalemites, and arrests continued in the city.

The Wadi Hilweh Information Center in Jerusalem explained that the District Court sentenced the boy Khattab Attia, 17 years old, to 42 months in prison (3 and a half years).

The Magistrate Court judge also sentenced Mohammad Dari, 19 years old, to one year in prison, and Mohammad Mustafa, 19, years old, to 7 months in prison.

From the village of Issawiya, the Musta'ribeen unit (undercover police) arrested the boy Mohammad Da'as.

From the Old City, the forces arrested the boy Majd Ihab Zghayar, 14, after storming and vandalizing his home in the Old City of Jerusalem.

The forces also arrested the freed prisoner Mohammad Samih al-Abbasi, and the boy Mahmoud Mohammad al-Abbasi from his workplace.

In the morning hours, the forces pursued a bus driver from the Al-Thori neighborhood in Silwan to Bi’er Ayoub, forced him to stop and arrested him, and forced the passengers to get off the bus
