July 14, 2025

On Monday morning, the Israeli District Court in Jerusalem issued prison sentences against two boys from the town of Silwan.

Lawyer Mohammad Mahmoud, from the Wadi Hilweh Information Center in Jerusalem, explained that the court sentenced the two boys, Fajr al-Abbasi and Abdullah Abu Diab, to four years in prison and a suspended probation of five months for three years.

The two boys were arrested by occupation forces in May 2024, and were subjected to lengthy and harsh interrogations during their detention.
