Because she wrote her son's name alongside "the martyr"... the mother of martyr Wadi’ Alayan was arrested
After midnight, the occupation police released Linda Alayan, the mother of the martyr Wadi’ Alayan, after an investigation that lasted several hours at the Oz police station in Jabal Al-Mukabber.
The occupation forces had arrested the mother of the martyr Wadi’ Alayan yesterday evening after raiding her home in Jabal Al-Mukabber, accusing her of "incitement via social media."
The investigation with Linda focused on her posts about her son, and her writing the word "martyr" next to his name. They considered this "incitement" and emphasized that the use of this word is prohibited. During the investigation, the investigators deliberately provoked the martyr's mother by directing insults at her son Wadi’.
After hours of detention and investigation, she was released on bail and under the condition that she attend the investigation when summoned. Her mobile phone was confiscated, and a ban was imposed on posting on social media.
It is noteworthy that the child, Wadi’ Shadi Alayan (14 years old), was martyred on February 5, 2024, after being shot directly at the entrance to the town of Eizariya, east of Jerusalem, and his body is still being held to this day.
