A plot of land in Issawiya village was stormed and confiscated under the pretext of "public benefit"
Israeli occupation forces, accompanied by municipal crews and bulldozers, stormed a plot of land with an approximate area of 2.5 dunoms belonging to several Palestinian families in the village of Issawiya in Jerusalem on Monday. They began work to confiscate the land under the pretext of "public benefit."
The families had been pursuing legal action in Israeli courts for many years to protect their rights.
The Israeli municipality had previously demolished three houses built on the same plot.
